Robinson and Stith proudly has a NO VOICEMAIL policy during working hours.  So you don't get stuck in a phone web with voicemail, you get to speak to a real, live person when you need us. 

Jimmy Robinson is President and manager of our agency. He holds CIC and CPIM designations. Jimmy started his insurance career in 1984. He manages day to day operations and helps manage personal, commercial, life, and health departments. Jimmy has served on agents' advisory councils for various insurance companies. Jimmy has served and continues to serve on several committees for the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina.

Bud is New Bern born and bred. After owning his own agency in Washington, NC, Bud moved back home to New Bern and came to work with Robinson Insurance in 1991. Bud specializes in commercial production, public relations, and special projects for Robinson and Stith Insurance. Bud's knowledge of Eastern NC makes him an MVP for our team.

Dennis began his career in the insurance industry in 1982. He attended the School of Insurance in Chapel Hill, NC and the School of Insurance at United States Fidelity and Guarantee Company in Baltimore, MD. He works with commercial and personal lines, bonds, life, health, and long term care insurance. He is Vice-President and Automation Administrator for the agency. Dennis is Past Master of his Masonic Lodge, Past Chairman of the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of the New Bern Rotary Club. He is an active member of his local church and has served on many civic and business committees during the past 27 years.

Johnny is the son of our President, Jimmy Robinson, and the grandson of the late Gus Robinson. Johnny started his insurance career working with Cincinnati Financial while in college. After graduating from N.C. State University, he worked for Ohio Casualty Group in Raleigh, NC, as a claims adjuster. Johnny works in all phases of agency operations and is a sales representative for Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health.

William D. Luper, Sr. (Bill), R.H.U., has over 45 years of life, health and employee benefits experience. He was formerly Senior Vice-President of Jefferson Pilot Insurance Company. He joined the Robinson & Stith Agency in 1995 and serves as manager of the life, health, and employee benefits department.

Angee began her insurance career in 1995, working in Raleigh for Liberty Mutual as a personal lines sales representative. Her specialty is life and health insurance; however, she is knowledgeable in all product lines.

Angee heads up our Morehead City office, where she frequently assists clients in the Carteret County area by solving their coastal issues.

After a successful career in real estate, Lorlen decided to change fields and join our team at Robinson and Stith in 2008. Lorlen is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. With her vibrant and glowing personality, Lorlen offers great outside the box thinking for her customers.

Kay began her career in insurance in 1970; Kay joined our agency in 1997. She handles commercial lines accounts and also holds a CISR designation. Born and raised in New Bern, Kay's familiarity with Eastern NC helps her protect our clients to our fullest potential.

Kathy has been a part of our team since 2003. Kathy has extensive instuance experience from both a company's side and an agency's side. Kathy handles commercial accounts of all sizes.

Debra first started in the insurance industry in 1981. She moved to New Bern with her family in 1999 and came to work with our agency. Debra was originally a personal lines CSR, but has diversified since 2008 and also handles commercial lines. Debra holds her CISR designation. Her vast knowledge of the industry from both a personal lines perspective and a commercial perspective makes her an asset to both her clients and our agency.

Pauline has been in the insurance business since 1985, working in both servicing claims and marketing accounts. She was working with C.H. Stith Insurance for 6 years before our merger in 1998. Today, Pauline occasionally works in our Greenville office, but still assists many of our clients in the Pamlico, Craven and Carteret areas. She is a hard-worker and has a great relationship with her clients.

Heather is the newest addition to our family here at Robinson and Stith. Heather comes to our agency with over 11 years of experience as a customer service representative. She specializes in international coverages, commercial auto, commercial property and workers compensation.

June has been in the insurance industry for over 40 years. And she is getting better and better with time. June services all types of commercial accounts, and brings expertise to her clients.

Brenda is our Personal Lines Manager. She has been in the insurance business since 1987. She joined our agency in 1996 as a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative. Brenda received her CISR designation in 1993. Brenda's polite demeanor creates a pleasant environment for clients and co-workers alike.

Denise began her career in the insurance business in 1984. She was a receptionist and bookkeeper for several years before becoming a personal lines representative. Her 25 years experience along with her friendly personality is a true asset for our clients at Robinson and Stith. Denise received her CISR designation in 1994.

Clara started in the insurance business in 1960, joining our agency in 1998 with the merger of Chadwick Insurance Services. As a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, her 49 years of expertise will provide you with all your personal lines needs. Clara received her CISR designation in 1989.

Shelly assists our agency in our personal lines department. She also holds her CISR designation. Shelly began her insurance career in 2002, and came to work with our agency in 2005. Shelly's in-depth personal lines knowledge helps her truly assist her clients and give them the best coverage available with friendly service.

Lori first began her career in the insurance industry in 1991. She later came to work with our agency in 2008. She assists customers in our personal lines department. Lori is well-liked by her clients and attention to detail is her strong suit.

John started in the insurance business in 1995 with Robinson Insurance Agency, after having been in private business for over 35 years. He has worked in commercial insurance as a support person since starting with the agency. His knowledge of business operations has been an asset in working with commercial accounts. Well-known and liked in the New Bern area, John is a huge asset to our team.

As your Receptionist, Joanne will be the cheerful voice that greets you on the telephone and the first smiling face you will see when you visit our office. As the Communication Director, she will then introduce you to the agent who can help you with your insurance needs.

Kathleen moved to North Carolina to retire from an insurance agency in Maryland back in 2007--fortunately she couldn't find any hobbies to occupy her time, so she came to work with our agency in late 2007. Her decision to return to work has been our pleasure, and her accounting experience has been a huge bonus.

Pat survives her husband, Gus Robinson, in our agency. She assists in day to day operations and serves as an officer. She is the mother of Jimmy Robinson and the grandmother of Johnny Robinson.
